This tells the game what the mod is, it's what is used to add it to the mod list in the game.ĭivinity - Original Sin 2\Data\Public\HotbarAutoSkillsOnly\Stats\Generated\Data\Object.txt Here's the same mod, I made for myself as a PAK Modĭivinity - Original Sin 2\Data\Mods\HotbarAutoSkillsOnly.pakĭivinity - Original Sin 2\Data\Mods\HotbarAutoSkillsOnly\Mods\HotbarAutoSkillsOnly\meta.lsx Tidy Skillbars is a stat mod packaged as a Public Shared modĭivinity - Original Sin 2\Data\Public\Shared\Stats\Generated\Data\Object.txtĭivinity - Original Sin 2\Data\Public\Shared\Stats\Generated\Data\Potion.txt This uses an override method, only changing the reqired lines, but that requires the mods isolated in it's own folder (What's inside the PAK files) Most mods are simple stat changes, only editing one, or two entries in one of the large stats files. Other mods could be put there, but the big problem is the 'repolace Vanilla files completely' thing. This works well for textures, that are intended to repolace Vanilla files completely, and because it's in public shared, it's applied to all players in multiplayer, and doesn't affect achievements either being a mere visual change not gameplay. They do this by putting the mod into the Public/Shared Folder.
